Our business breakfast has gone UNPLUGGED!

Come by Busboys and Poets on October 13th from 8-10 am for Locals Unplugged!, a candid conversation about good business co-hosted by Live Green and Think Local First DC.

Owning a business can be stressful. Jasmine Chehrazi, Founder of the Yoga District turned a need for stress relief into a business venture that now has five locations.  Her mission is to make yoga accessible to all.  At $10 a class, she is one of the most affordable studios in DC.  How does she do it, grow and still live true to her mission?
You will have to show up to learn more.

She will explore topics such as business growth, negotiating the right real estate, running a non-profit vs. for profit and much more.  Jasmin will also share stress management techniques you can practice and share with your staff. She will be interviewed by Addie Spahr, the founder and principal consultant of Green Living Consulting and a LEED accredited professional with over 15 years experience.

About the Speaker:

Jasmine Chehrazi is the Founder of the Yoga District collective of yoga studios, and Founder of Yoga Activist, a nonprofit outreach organization dedicated to improving accessibility and trauma sensitivity in yoga and mindfulness instruction.  In her role as a yoga educator, Jasmine serves on the Faculty at George Washington University, advising yoga teachers in training. She also directs the yoga teacher training programs at Yoga District.
